Is it wrong to want shelves like this at my age?

  1. Whew! I'm in good company then! I can imagine this not only with stuffed animals but also with vintage kitchen stuff: pretty bowls or a salt and pepper shaker collection. The sky's the limit!

  3. Ooh! That sounds super cute! I was thinking that with these, it would take the cute level up one more notch if one were to wallpaper a thin sheet of board with some pretty vintage wallpaper and put it on the back of the shelves.

  5. Oh, scalloped shelves are wonderful! Maybe the roof is a bit much ( for me, anyhow, but we have a little Cape Cod-y house), but the scalloped shelves, row upon row? Bring them on!

  6. Hah, love it! No, it is not wrong. I am obsessed with shelving. I have a 1950s/60s mirrored shelving unit for my perfume collection that is gigantic and unwieldy and can only be hung on one wall of the house. Now I have to find room to hang a printer's tray I found (which will then be filled with tiny tchotchkes).
