I saw this video late in the middle of last night while tossing and turning and cursing my post-dental-surgery mouth full of woe.
When I woke up this morning, I worried that it had only been a dream...but fortunately, it was proven to be real - and about three years old. I'm nothing if not current.
One of these days, I'm going to make it to Japan and get a big dose of the rockabilly subculture firsthand. The Mister has always wanted to live there. Maybe one day...
I hope that y'all are doing good. I'm still packing chipmunk cheeks and misery.
Until next time,
x's and o's,
Eartha

So sorry you're having problems with your oral surgery. I had all four of mine done about 30 years ago, and I was eating steak the day after the surgery. Guess I was really lucky!
Hope that you're starting to feel better. I got mine out in college and the worst part was waking up with my face in a lovely pool of drooly blood. Ahh, memories
If you go to Japan, you MUST tell me if you spot any of those bagel head people!!! http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/09/26/bagel-head-forehead-injections-japan-saline_n_1916188.html
The Japanese rockabilly kids used to come into the vintage store where I worked. They did it better than any American teens in the 50's, and would always drop a lot of cash. Sigh. They were hardcore.
Hope your mouth is feeling a lot better today... Been thinking of you!
xoxo
thanks for a fun way to start my day. Get well soon!
chipmunk cheeks and misery .... oh girl I feel for you! I hope you feel MUCH better soon!
You okay? Did they give you drugs? How much longer do you have to recover? Poor baby!
Peter, Bjorn and John are one of my favorite bands. I think listening to them will make you feel much better :)
Dang girl, you're still having trouble? that's unusual,I hope nothing bad is happening up in there...
I'm so happy about this I could die. You had me at the guy teasing his three foot pompadour in the opening part of the video, but when the breakdancing Japanese rockabilly dudes throw-down happened... I don't even know how I feel about life any more. The world is a confusing place!
Sorry your teeth are still giving you heck! Feel better soon!
It takes a lot to render me speechless, but this video did it. That is all.
My kids and I love this song...it's usually tops in our "dance party" picks :)
