Click the photo below to see a pretty slideshow of some awesome blow molds and to learn a little history about them too. My portion is on page five but the whole article is full of eye candy and fun facts:
Until next time (let it glow...let it glow..let it glow..)

I've always been a fan of the blow molds too! There is something about them that puts a smile on my face...that an those animated figures that some folks have in their windows.
Lovely! You are a lucky, lucky girl, Eartha!
They always make me smile. We have two little soldiers guarding our drive right now!
Love your Santa! He looks so warm and jolly :D Also... I've been head over heels in love with your blog's banner since I found your blog! Is that Loretta Lynn or a relative?

Suzy8-Track: Oh yes, I like those too! They make me feel like a little kid!
Ruth: Thanks hon! :)
DearHelenHartman: Ooh! I love the soldiers too!
Velvet Tangerine: Thanks so much! I found both those photos in my banner at the same yard sale - it was a really insane yard sale where this lady had just set hundreds of old musty boxes on her lawn from a shed. Then she just sat there and let people rummage through them. Some of them were gross but some...pure gold. So, I don't know who she or he are. They're two of my favorite finds though. She's hanging in my kitchen right now. I love her. She looks like a mixture of Loretta and my Mom to me.
Pure gold is the perfect way to describe those two photos! Happy New Year :D
Hi Eartha:
Thanks for the mention and gracing the About.com gallery! Wish we lived in the same vicinity, because I can tell by your blog and the great stuff in your photos that we have LOTS in common! I'll bet we even own some of the same kitsch collectibles. If you're ever working on projects in the yard -- I can just imagine your lawn furniture and flamingos -- contact me, and I'll include them in another gallery.
Hope 2012 is full of health, hope and a few laughs!
Lisa H. Taylor
